CLASS OUTING ALERT.
I will be organising a class trip/outing to either Sungei Buloh Nature Reserve OR Botanical Gardens. On MONDAY,
Details are as follows:
Mondays to Saturdays:
Board SMRT Bus 925 from Kranji MRT Station. Alight at Kranji Reservoir
Carpark for 15-min walk to the Reserve.
Sundays and Public Holidays:
SMRT Bus 925 stops at Reserve's entrance.
So I suppose on public holidays, the bus service is still avaliable and it stops at the entrance so we no need take the 15-min walk. :D
Opening Hours:
7.30am to 7.00pm on Monday to Saturday
7.00am to 7.00pm on Sundays & Public Holidays Admission: Free entry
except on Saturdays, Sundays, Public Holidays and School Holidays.
$1.00 per adult
$0.50 per child / student / senior citizen.
TIPS:
- Dress in comfortable clothes in neutral colour
- Put on comfortable walking shoes
- Wear a hat in non-bright colour
- Bring binoculars, drinking water, notebook and pen
- The reserve is wheelchair-friendly
- During thunderstorm stay in the observation hides
Yeah. Thats for the nature reserve. :D
For Botanical gardens:
The newest mrt station is Newton MRT.
The opening hours is 5 am to 12 midnight daily.
Admission is FOC.
We can also visit the National Orchid Garden!
